Cooperation with Tukilinja

At Suomi Sports (Note! We are not Suomi Sport, rather Suomi Sports) we have long campaigned for the use of head protection in children’s and youth’s skating. In support of the up-take of head protection we decided to found the skating shop turvapanta.fi, from where protective head bands, as well as other skating products, can be purchased affordably. Affordability is important to us we consider costs in children’s and youth’s sport in Finland to be way too high. As a point of principle, we do not want to profit from the sale of products relating to children’s/youth’s sport, however, the product manufacturers demand from us that our retail pricing not be too cheap. As such, we searched for a good-willed cooperation partner to which we could donate our profits from the sale of skating products. Tukilinja’s values are well aligned with our own in that, amongst others, Tukilinja supports participation in hobbies for children with physical and psychological special needs from low-income households. Since the beginning of Summer 2025 all such profits go to Tukilinja!
